The Impossible Ideal

How one could look upon this face
And see only something to replace
Is beyond what I’d call decency
And quite more near hypocrisy

You say this face is unlike the rest
And several people here do attest
But how is your face much like their’s
I mean even twins are only near perfect pairs

So how can you judge based on a look
And label someone as being forsook
For being different than the ideal in your head
When that is somewhere you yourself do not tread

Because the only thing that makes us like the rest
Is that each of us is different exactly like the rest
